Styling Japandi Decor with a Triangle Arrangement | Spiral Stone Objects

Here is a triangle arrangement using our new Spiral Stone Objects. Placing three elements at the points of a triangle prevents monotony and brings the whole space together.

- Completing the Triangle with a Third Object
Spiral Stone Objects, crafted by a Japanese design team, are designed so that two objects of different heights (Tall 500 mm / Short 300 mm) form two points of a triangle. Add a low, wide third object, and the three heights draw an uneven triangle that brings the arrangement together. In these scenes, the third object is the Layered Wood Object.
A triangle arrangement is a basic design principle used in many fields to create visual stability and rhythm. Varying the heights also adds depth. Japanese flower arrangement and bonsai likewise build on uneven triangles of different heights.

- Tips for Your Scene
1. Complete the triangle with a third object: Add a low, wide third object to the Tall and Short pair. Avoid an equilateral triangle; shifting the spacing and the peak slightly gives a more natural look.
2. Consistent materials: Spiral Stone Objects share the same material as the Oval Tray, so combining JAPANDI 3D items brings a consistent look to your space.
3. Works on either side: The objects have no front or back, so they work whether placed on the left or right side of your scene. The two objects keep a fixed arrangement, but rotating them 180 degrees swaps Tall and Short from left to right, giving you a different layout.
