KUMIKO is a traditional Japanese woodworking technique in which thin strips of wood are precisely joined to create geometric patterns without the use of nails. This model reinterprets that craftsmanship as wall art for contemporary interiors.

The design features ASANOHA, a traditional Japanese hemp-leaf pattern. Because hemp grows straight and strong, the motif has long been associated with healthy growth and has been used as a meaningful decorative pattern in Japan.

Its balanced geometric pattern and delicate layers of shadow create a calm visual rhythm. As light moves across the surface, the shadows change subtly, adding depth and dimension to the wall.

Light and Gray variations are included, making it easy to coordinate with different wall colors and interior tones. It works well above consoles and cabinets, or as an accent in entryways and hallways. Simply placing it in a scene helps establish a Japandi look.
